Before & After
This 40-year-old patient decided to pursue breast augmentation in Boston to achieve a fuller, more balanced appearance. She was bothered by the small size and lack of perkiness of her breasts which unfortunately became more pronounced after several pregnancies. Her primary goals included restoring lost volume and attaining proportion that complemented her frame. She initially underwent a breast augmentation utilizing 350cc silicone gel implants but was dissatisfied with their size (The initial result is displayed as a separate case #33). She ultimately selected round, highly cohesive silicone gel implants each sized at 450 cc. The implants were placed beneath the muscle, a technique often chosen for a more natural silhouette and reduced risk of complications.
Throughout the process, she worked closely with Christopher J. Davidson, MD, during a series of consultations. These visits allowed her to clarify her expectations, review options, and understand the recovery timeline. The procedure involved a careful assessment of her anatomy to ensure a result tailored to her body type.
Following surgery, the patient experienced a routine recovery and gradually returned to daily activities. Postoperative photographs show enhanced breast shape and volume, reflecting the patient’s surgical goals. She reported satisfaction with her outcomes, particularly the balanced and soft contours created by the selected implants.
