I Did It! Tummy Tuck and Breast Augmentation I have waited and wanted this surgery for years! Finally after five consults I found my doctor and scheduled the procedure. I was scared I have to be honest. Each consultation was so different, but I felt I would know when I found the right surgeon. While they were all more than competent I simply knew when I met Dr. Davidson. The consultation process is a learning process. Despite all the reviews, and personal experiences on this site there will always be what is important to you that makes it very individual. The consultation was relatively long, we spent a lot of time answering my questions and then picking out the correct implant size. I knew then that he got me. I was doing implants to get a great look and to have my clothes feel better but I did NOT want large breasts. Funny enough all of the doctors I spoke to said the same thing, the number one complaint regarding implants was that the women wished they had gone larger. I needed the doctor to understand and get that I did not want big breast, I am a runner and spin instructor so large breasts were not my thing. If I could have gotten away with a lift I would have done that but I literally had pancakes on my chest. Dr. Davidson got it right away. So while the Tummy Tuck was the lead surgery the breasts were more important in terms of outcome. So the second pre-op consult was also very thorough, they took measurements for the post op garments, went over pre op things I needed to do, gave me my prescriptions and went over again the size of the implant. Finally the day came, I have to say I was ready for the worst. I had watched all the youtube video, looked and read every thing on real self and had the house good to go. Dr. Davidson has his own surgery so it was not done in a hospital and I would go home the same day. At first I did not realize what a benefit this was. I am so very happy I did it in his private surgical unit with an anesthesiologist who I had spoken to prior to the surgery date. So I got there and just went into autopilot of a sort where I didn't really focus on what was about to happen. He came in smiling (he is always smiling) and marked me up. They gave me my first dose of meds, put the IV in and off I went to surgery. The next thing I remember is waking up, fully dressed in my compression gear and clothes and my friend who was staying with me for the next four days was there to take me home. I took my meds and pain meds for the first night, by the next day my friend (who is also a nurse) noted that I wasn't asking when my next meds were due, so we skipped the pain meds only and then I never went on them again. I won't say its painless but honestly I experiences discomfort but no real pain. I need help getting up but I could easily walk around and frankly was erect in a few days. I know other people stay slightly tilted forward for a while but by the end of the week I was almost perfectly upright. The biggest hurdles the first week for me were constipation, going stir crazy and the compression garment. I did not mind the drain that was in for a week and I had purchased garments that had pockets to hold the drain. The first shower was a challenge because its slow and I had to retape my wounds, actually my friend did, lol. A week later I went back for my follow up and believe it or not a necklift (I will review that separately). So how do I feel three weeks plus a few days post op? I feel awesome. I started walking six miles per day about ten days post op and three days post op from the necklift. The swelling did go down after a week but is clearly still there. Two weeks post op I could fit in my jeans with my compression garment on. I definitely get tired quicker still but my breasts caused me zero pain. My abdomen was really minimal and I am very careful to follow his instructions. Once I gather my final pictures I will post them. I am working on lymphatic massage to aid in the reduction of retained fluid. So far, three weeks post op I am extremely happy. If anyone lives in or near the Massachusetts area I would highly recommend going to Dr. Davidson, he is a top plastic surgeon and he has trained under the best. He is so responsive. I can call, text or email and I get a response so quickly. Also he called me both nights after my procedure personally to see how I was doing. Everything unfolded exactly as he said it would. I am older than the typical patient, 52, but I don't regret it one bit. I will post pictures and welcome presents. Oh, and my breasts....they are perfect. I believe they will land somewhere around a B cup which is exactly where I wanted to land. Constipation is clearly a concern, especially if you stay on the pain meds, take Colace and Senakot. One softens your stool and one assists in motility (sorry if this is TMI). Feel free to ask questions.

Best Experience Was the best experience Dr.Davidson was very professionaland understanding. He takes good care of his patients, is welcoming any time for either emails or dropping by at the clinc . Money is last thing they discussed and your comfort and concern comes first. The staff is very friendly and welcoming ..highly recommend

Very Pleased After having 3 children by C-Section, I had a large bulge in my abdomin from muscle separation. The bulge wouldn't go away from diet or exercise and I didn't want to feel insecure anymore. I was referred to Dr. Davidson by a friend who had a fabulous experience with him. I am very pleased with the results of my surgery and Thankful I had it done.

It was a pleasure working with Dr. Davidson and all of his staff. I am very pleased with the results and would recommend him to everyone I know!

Outstanding care and results Right from the very first call to Dr. Davidson's office I was treated with nothing but professionalism and discreetness. He and very member of his team is knowledgeable and caring. My results are outstanding!

Labiaplasty: Dr. Davison and his team were topnotch. They eased my fears and treated me with respect and care. The entire process pre/intra/post care was outstanding. I love my results and have a whole new confidence!

Dr. Davidson is a very skilled surgeon and explains everything in perfect detail. After researching many surgeons for my breast lift he was the only one that I considered going with, the best decision I made.

Tummy Tuck, lipo, implants & lift scheduled after years of contemplation I have been a member on this site for years and have poured over hundreds of reviews for insight as to whether I could do this surgery or not. I am older than most I think who do this (I will be 52 by the time of surgery). I have intended to do this for my 50th and then somehow I balked. Finally I decided this was the year (except technically it will be next year by the time I go to surgery). I am scared, thrilled, nervous, you name it. I did my research and found the right doctor for me. I will add his name later. I will also add pictures, and during recovery I hope to give everyone a clear path to my healing and how I found the entire process. I had five consultation and the prices varied quite a bit. In the end the Doctor I chose was the right fit for me. I consulted with two doctors who were also hospital doctors, meaning that Cosmetic surgery was not their sole practice. The remaining three were dedicated full time to plastic surgery. Frankly I think my results would have been fine with any of them but I believe the doctor I chose will give me the results I am looking for. I went with a doctor who dedicates himself full time to Cosmetic procedures and I believe it is the way to go. He did not try to cross sell any additional procedures. One of the doctors had me doing five or six more procedures and I can only imagine how I would have felt after surgery. The one thing I note is that everyones pain threshold seems to be different so I am hopeful I can hang tough and get through the first several days without issue. I am a runner so the various consults went from just giving me a lift to huge implants. The implants I picked are small and the doctor was able to give me a 3D image of my body with the implants in. Right now I have flap jacks and they will be small tidy breasts once I am done. I am very excited and welcome any and all suggestions on how to prepare for this or get information on things I may not have thought of that I should do prior to surgery. Any help I can get is great. I will keep you all posted! Went to my pre op appointment. Dr. Davidson's staff was thorough. We reviewed again the implant size, the pre op instructions and post op instructions. My measurements were taken and compression wear ordered . I got my scripts and met with the doctor again. I also was interviewed by the anesthesiologist. Probably the most impressive part was that I was given the Doctors email which he responds to quickly . I'm nervous and excited . I cannot believe I am on this side of the procedure . I am done. I am still very swollen but can say why I can see looks good. Recovery isn't easy and if you are an active person very boring. I was off any pain killers two days post off. At most I would call it discomfort not pain. I will day for me the most difficult part is wearing the compression garment, I hate control top nylons and spanx so you can imagine. You really do need to wear it tho to get the swelling down . Hi All, I wanted to update everyone who is considering this surgery, especially those in the Massachusetts area. If you are considering either of the surgeries I had, I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Davidson. I cannot say enough. I can tell you is he is an artist. My scar is red as it is expected to be at this stage but it is a fine line scar, it is as if someone took a fine tip pen and drew a line. It has been this way from day one. As for my breasts, he gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. I don't think my breasts ever looked this good. I did not want large breasts and he honored my wishes. They have looked perfect from the first day. No bruising anywhere, and I did liposuction also. I am back to running and teaching spin. I am giving my abdominals a rest as he repaired the muscles. So if you can get here or live in Massachusetts I highly suggest you use Dr. Davidson.
